The Faux Louvre is a series of contemporary classic art by Benicia painter Mernie Buchanan. These affordable gouache (opaque watercolor) and pencil studies in colorful hand refinished frames are inspired by favorite masterpieces in great museums.

E-Mail. Since the hand painted frames make each piece unique, I'll send some digitals of currently available art in a few different styles. If you have favorite colors or a theme, I'll be able to customize a selection. Call with your choice anytime between 7am and 10pm.
